The once-popular Northern IPTV, GloryV, and other live services have been shut down by ACE.
The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) has successfully shut down three more illegal IPTV services.

According to an official press release from ACE, the three IPTV services confiscated and shut down include Northern IPTV, GloryV, and IPTVOnline24.
Northern IPTV was a Canadian-based live TV service with over 2,000 live channels, VOD offerings, and other content.
The GloryV IPTV service was another Canadian-based live TV provider with over 3,000 live channels, PPV, VOD content, and other offerings.
Although not as popular as the other two services, IPTVOnline24 was based in Quebec and offered over 10,000 live channels, VOD content, and had its own custom application.
The Executive Vice President and Chief of Global Content Protection for the MPA, Jan van Voorn, stated the following on this situation:
“This is an important step in ACE’s ongoing efforts to reduce piracy in Canada and throughout the global creative ecosystem. We will continue to protect our creative workforce and the content it creates.”
After ACE identified and confiscated the IPTV operators of each service, all domains were transferred over and are redirecting to the “Watch Legally” page on ACE’s website.
Now what’s most interesting about this story is if you search “Northern IPTV” you will likely find a website pretending to be the original service.
After reviewing the website’s contact page, we were shocked to find that “BestBuyIPTV” is behind this.

Overall, it will be interesting to see how this plays out and what live TV services are coming next on ACE’s target list.
