As reported by TorrentFreak, the MPA believes that more pressure needs to be put on other organizations in the global ecosystem that assist pirate services.
Now they are asking the European Commission to help more with their global anti-piracy efforts.
In the official MPA submission to the European Commission, the document states the following:
“The Motion Picture Association (MPA) submits this response aiming to identify marketplaces outside the EU where counterfeiting, piracy or other forms of intellectual property abuses are common practice. Recent EU figures show that the core copyrightintensive industries generate 15 million jobs, contribute approximately 1 trillion to the GDP, which represents almost 7% of the European GDP.”
Therefore, the MPA is convincing the European Commission that increasing anti-piracy efforts will provide an overall benefit to the European economy.
The European Commission already does publish an annual report called the “Counterfeit and Piracy Watch List.” This list is based on input from copyright authorities and other stakeholder groups.
This is similar to the US Government’s notorious markets report that was released a few months ago.
Now what’s interesting is just last month the European Union is set to pass a bill that would allow for sideloading on iOS devices. This seems to be counterintuitive to what the MPA is now demanding.
Anyways, below you will find several IPTV services, torrent websites, and streaming sites that are listed in this document sent by the MPA to the European Commission.

Will Users of These Pirate Sites/Services be Contacted by Authorities?
It’s uncertain what’s happening behind the scenes with the MPA and others targeting more pirate websites and services globally.
We’ve seen website operators in the past hand over user data, streaming history, and identifying IP addresses. They’re also known to sell this sought-after information to other third parties.
It’s extremely important to only stream content not protected by copyright and protect yourself with a VPN.
Overall, it will be interesting to see what happens going forward with the MPA and European Commission.
We will keep our visitors informed as more news arrives on the situation.
The European Commission isn’t the only organization the MPA is asking to help combat online piracy:
