TROYPOINT IPTV dot Net – Scam Site – Stay Away

A TROYPOINT IPTV scam site recently surfaced which was created by the people running BestBuyIPTV.

We recently reported on how BestBuyIPTV has been scamming customers and stealing identifications and TROYPOINT is now on the receiving end of the same.

We’ve received multiple questions over the past few days asking if this new TROYPOINT IPTV site is ours.

No it is not!

TROYPOINT has never operated an IPTV service and never will.  We are a technology website that focuses on tutorials, news, and reviews, specifically in the cord-cutting niche.

When we were first alerted that BestBuyIPTV had created a TROYPOINT IPTV website, we contacted them with the following message.

 

BestBuyIPTV sent the following reply.

Apparently, they were just ‘borrowing’ our IPTV brand, even though we don’t sell an IPTV service.

After this email was sent, they had deactivated the troypointiptv.net website.

We replied to the above email demanding that they transfer ownership of the domain over to us and pay for the attorney fees that we had incurred.

We didn’t receive a reply and the website is now active again but they have changed their email address in the header.

Prior to us sending the cease and desist warning, bestbuyiptv.com@gmail.com was their contact email in the top right corner of the site.

They have now changed their email address to troypointiptv.net@gmail.com.

We aren’t the only ones being treated this way which you will see from their stellar 2.4 rating on Trust Pilot.

Stay away from TROYPOINT IPTV dot Net as this is not our service.  You should also sever all ties from BestBuyIPTV unless you want the same to happen to you.
