Electro TV IPTV Service Shut Down by ACE

The once-popular live TV service Electro TV IPTV has officially been shut down by ACE.

The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) has successfully shut down yet another pirate live TV service.

This comes after recent shutdowns of Juice TV, Nitro TV, and several other unverified IPTV providers.

Electro TV was a popular IPTV service providing thousands of live channels and VOD content that was broadcasted illegally. They also had thousands of users from around the world.

According to reports, the Electro TV IPTV service was operated by two individuals located in Oujda, Morocco.

Electro TV also promoted illegal streaming devices “pre-loaded” with illegal streaming applications. Reseller packages were also offered.

The Executive Vice President of the Motion Pictures Association, Jan van Voorn, commented the following in an official press release:

“Shutting down Electro TV in North Africa is a strong demonstration of the impact that ACE’s global investigative and enforcement capabilities can have on reducing that threat”

This won’t be the last shutdown we see from anti-piracy organizations such as ACE or the Motion Pictures Association (MPA).
